Description: Stems trailing or climbing for a few feet (60cm) by attachment roots. Leaves narrow, about six to nine inches (15-23cm) wide and more than two feet (60cm) long, velvety green in color with the veins paler.

Soil Type: An ideal mix would be 3 parts peat, 1 part chopped sphagnum moss, 1 part gravel and a little organic soil. Always use a pot with a hole.

Place pebbles or gravel in the drainage dish to hold water and increase the humidity, make sure the pot is sitting on the gravel and not in the water. Good drainage is a necessity. It will not flower if it doesn't receive enough light. If possible put outside for the summer in the shade.
