Hi,
I got an amaryllis around Christmas time, and it bloomed beautifully twice :) I cut the stem after each bloom died but realized a few days ago that the water wasn't draining out of the pot properly and it had been sitting in (sulfur-smelling) water. Short green growths is poking out of the bulb, but I don't think it's really growing anymore. Is the bulb rotten and dead, or can something be done?
