I hope you can help me.

The ends of my bamboo plant (the only indoor plant I have) are turning brown. What am I doing wrong??
I keep the bowl full to the top everyday, trying never to let the roots dry out. Regular tap water, not hot nor cold.
It sits under the kitchen window where there is lots of indirect lighting. Never direct sun.
That's all they (at the chinese restraunt) told me to do for it.

Thanks for your help.

Will-
Hi, My bamboo has been doing fairly well, but just recently one of the stalks has turned brown. The leaves are still green, but the main part is brown. What could be causing this?
Also, I have another bamboo plant that is turning to a more yellow/green. Could it be receiving too much light during the winter?
