I am taking care of a caribean lily for a friend that is on vacation. it kind of looks like lilac or bluebonnets . but anyway she was given it and it already looks dead. the flowers and leaves are "crunchy"

there are still some flowers on it in bloom which are a pretty light purple.

how do i take care of this plant? i think it is still alive.

i looked for caring instructions on the net but didn't find any.

please help.
