Hello,
I have a beautiful ficus tree that was outside all summer and was very healthy. Now that it has been inside since October all the leaves have dropped which I understand but there are several red, hard, droplets on the branches. I am able to scrape them off but am wondering if this is some form of scale. I did take a sample branch to the local nursery and was told that the tree was overwatered. Then I had another person look at the branch and told me to treat with systemic. Please help! I do not want to use chemicals unless needed. Thank you.
