A volunteer Nandina was growing in an awkward place, so I dug it up and put it where I needed a shrub. It looked beautiful for the first 2 weeks (I watered it about a gallon every morning; it is about 15" tall). We had several heavy snowfalls so I didn't water until the snow had melted. Now it looks dry and the red leaves have started turning green.

Any advice?
