I Bought an unmarked vine looking plant that has green A pink Foliage I dont want it to die but I dont know proper care for it please help

I do not know if it is a house plant or garden that is the question mostley about sun exposure it seems to have trouble in both and i live in san diego so weather is not much problem it dies outside and does not do well inside either I have had 3 but know only one remains
