I have two questions

and
do they reblossom if you cut off dead blossoms?

Dear Shirley,,

As soon as your easter lilly has finished blooming and has started to wither....plant it outdoor where you want it, cutting it back short after the green has died down quiet a bit. It will not bloom again this season, but will next year. Be sure to plant it at the recommended depth for lillies...I think it is about 7-8 inches down, but double check on that, Carol
