My lucky bamboo plant....I took away one of them out of the bunch because is had no roots. I put it in water and rocks...it rooted alot...then it turned yellow but it still has roots. What am I doing wrong..what should I do? Someone told me it needed more sun...so I put it in more sun...then I took it out of the sun because it got worse. I added plant food too...Help

My guess is the plant food. Plants really don't require a lot of food. Actually, I feed mine about twice a year and then it is very weak.

I am interested in your set up for the Lucky Bamboo and Beta Fish. I have a good size container and purchased Bamboo with the intention of adding a fish. The Bamboo is about 12" and goes to the bottome of the vase with glass stones around it. My questions are 1) will the bamboo do ok with about half the stalk in water and 2) will the fish survive if I feed it beta food since the roots are covered by the stones. Thanks for any information you can give me. My email is cstoler@sandereng.com
