were and how do i care for a " Super Mammoth Elephant Ear " plant shade sun water it and do i need to dig it up each year and in what season

It all depends where you live, doesn't it? Care is simple - as much sun as you can, rich soil and ample water. Derek

Derek,
I'm hopping that your able to anwser a question or two about this plant call "super mammoth elephant ear". I'd just got it today, but I'd like to know anything you could tell me about it. Like whats its cold hardy zone? My zone here where I live is a zone 6 according to the usda. Thank you for taking the time in reading this.

I just purchased one of these types of Elephant ears and now I have heard that some variteys are poisonous. Does anyone know specifically if the Super Mammoth kind is? I need to know before I plant, we live on a farm and have two dogs and several cats. Please e-mail me with any info. Thank you! Amanda
