i have a peice lily that i got when my father passed away and it means alot too can u tell me what to do to take care of and where to put my plant in my house

How often should I water my Peace Lily Plant and dose it need plenty of sun light from the window its inside all the time.Is that good.

No direct sun, will do fine in north or northeast window.
If no north window available put it off to the side of a south or west window.
They like to be kept moist but not wet, they will droop when water is needed, but try not to wait till that happens alot.
