i have nats in all my house plants how do i get rid of them

Hi Geri,

You must be over watering. Cut back on that. I use regular house bug spray. Spritz the bottoms of the plant and the soil. You might have to do it a couple of times within a 7 day period or sooner. No harm should be done to the plant.

You can also try putting a layer of course grain sand across the top of the soil. The gnats cannot burrow through the sand and they will leave the plant for good. I tried this with my plants at home and at work and I have been bug free ever since.
