I'm trying to identify a plant; I think its in the palm catagory. It is small, but I have seen them in stores very big, almost ceiling high, not quite. The most identifying thing about it is the trunk/stalk has 3 offshoots-everyone I'ne seen has 3. Each one of these has shiney, dark green leaves. Leaves a long and narrow, and all three shoots have these long, narrow leaves that open out in a bouquet-type arrangement. I dont know how to describe these. The only other thing I can say is I bought them at Home Depot, the "inside plant area" of the store, not on the "outside". And these are identified as "tropical plants-indoor". I need help so I can give them, I have two, proper care. Thanks, Judy

the plant in question is one that I have always called a shamrock Plant but its not the proper name. The plant I have has got leavesthat are the shapes of triangles and there are 4 per stem.It has white flowers occasionally. Although I don't have one, but I know there is also one of these that the leaves are a dark maroon color. They have small bulb-like roots that are rigid in shape. Someone help me please.
