When and how will the cacti blossom? Also, How do I get last years poinsettia leaves to turn red? Thank you.

The cactus needs to get 12-14 hours of darkness and cool temps for about 6 weeks. You should start that process immediately. Minimal water so it survives.
Do not rotate or turn or change the direction of light once the buds appear. If you can leave in your garage or similar place that would be ideal.
Bring indoors and buds will finish developing in December.

The poinsettia I find is much easier to buy news ones every year.

2 years ago I got 2 cacti for a gift. Last year they wouldn't bloom or seem to grow. I put them outside on the porch and this year they are full of buds.
