Hi!
I recently recieved a plant- with almost strawberry like leaves, fuzzy, as are the branches and stems. The branches are rigid, leaves dark green, oval-pointed, saw tooth edges. fast growing. any ideas as to what it is?
thanks!!

No. I know what those are in fact i have 1. these have oval leaves that come to a point- 2 to 3", undersides of leaves purpleish, tops dark green, very fuzzy. someone tried to tell me it was a grape ivy of some sort but i don't think so. i know plants fairly well but have not been able to id this 1--

Possibly a Purple Passion Vine also known as a Velvet Plant. It is from the Gynura family.

Nope. i know what they are, too. it's not quite as fuzzy, undersides of leaves more maroonish than purple. leaves shaped like coleus. long, rigid stems, no tendrils, it's not really a vine-its not a grape ivy- got me stumped!
