Bromeliad ID Options

I need help IDing my new bromeliad. It is a very dull green color and the furteher a leaf is from the plant the more yellow the leaf becomes, it has a large tank in the center.

I am not getting what you are trying to explain. What color is the flower?????? What is a tank????

The center of the plant is called the "vase" present in most varieties. Its the central water-holder. There are hundreds of bromiliads.

sorry about that.....the leaves are a very dull green color, very pale, it has not flowered yet and I know it is a ephytic species but does better in pots with soil. It also has small spines on the leaf edges.
