My Mandivilla plant which has been repotted within the last month has the leaves turning yellow with leaf droppage. There are many blooms on the plant and it appears to be healthy otherwise. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your advice.

try feeding with fertilizer, not the liquid but the yellow small pebble type that you sprikle on the soil, work or loosen the soil some so the fertilzer will be absorbed. also water well after you fertilize as you do all plants. fertilize regularly about every 2 months or so...also this plant does not survive the cold during the winter..bring indoors. continue with water and fertilize but less. cut the plant back for winter to bring in it but leave 4 feet or so of the leaves and vine ..so that it will have something to grow on and survive for the winter indoors...do not cut back too far...it will die. needs light in the winter as well as the summer.

My plant is two years old now and I brought it indoors last winter as well as this fall. Repotted in larger container and it looked real healthy at first....now it almost nude of leaves. Is this just common for this plant or should I be worried? I see some suggestions for granular fertilizer and currently I don't use such but have always given it a mild dose, same as I give all my plants. I guess its not enough for this Plant????

I "wintered" mine in a plastic bag indoors. It now has several vines from the main base and I plan to replant as soon as nites warmer. Since it was so lovely last summer I have requests for some of the rhizones-and it has many which I have removed and put them in plastic sacks for giving. How must these be handled? Simply pot plant and fertilize? Plant in soil directly? Instructions will be so appreciated. TNANK YOU!

My Mandivillia plant has developed a white deposit mostly on the underside of the leaves that results in both leaves and blossoms to turn brown and fall. The deposit appears to be more like a foam deposit rather than mites, etc. We have sprayed with Immunox (Spectracide,Fungicide) and Ortho Systemic Insect Killer several times and still the white deposit continues to develop.Help would be appreciated. Thanks
