Hello, I got a house plant from my gma and I'm trying to figure out the name. It has green cacti-like "leaves" the shape and size of large tear drops and the limbs grow over the edge of the container and straight to the ground. The limbs are also mostly green. I've searched relentlessly with no luck...any help would be much appreciated.

thanks,
erik

A simple solution would be just to take it to your local nursery and have them tell you.

thanks Lynn. i'll try to take a picture of it for my local nursery since transporting the plant would be difficult...the leaves fall off very easily.

Maybe what you have is a Burro's Tail (Succulent) Otherwise known as (Sedum morganianum) They are notorious for dropping their thick leaves with just a whisper of a touch.
