My Piece Lilly is 11 years old and she's huge. I purchaesed a fabulous clay or ceramic like pot that would house her for another few years, but I am concerned that she's use to being in plastic that there may be some type of reaction. Am i being over protective? Or is it true that there coiuld be a checmical reaction to clay/ceramic. the post is not coated with a glaze.

You expertise is greatly appericiated.

Happy New year and I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Carmen

I think the main difference would be in how you will water your Peace Lily after you repot her. The clay pot will "drink" a lot of water. I would recommend soaking the clay pot so that it does not dehydrate the soil when you put your plant in it. Then you will probably need to monitor your Peace Lily to see if it dries out quicker in its new pot.
