I have seen these house plants before that grow miniture oranges, they are a small bush-like plant, and I've been told that the oranges don't taste very good. I cannot seem to find the name of it, and where would I be able to get one?

"Calamondin" miniature orange tree. I have one in my living room. The fruits do taste bitter but will get slightly sweeter as the plant grows bigger and the fruits larger. I feed the fruit to the blue-jays and other birds, maybe the squirrels eat them to, not sure on that. You can type that name in a search to find one. Ebay would have some, so you should have no real trouble finding one.The seeds of the ripened fruit can be easily planted to make more mini orange trees.I bought mine at Lowe's years ago.

Is there any specific ways to take care of it? Or to encourage it to grow faster and healthier. I just got mine, they are really very nice looking plants.

We have an ornamental orange tree in our Library and the outer edges of the leaves are turning brown. It was recently pruned, did this shock the tree? Or what could I be doing wrong?

I have had a miniature tree for about ten years. It produces plenty of oranges which ripen at various times of the year. Should I pick the oranges when ripened or should I allow them to fall of the tree? Can anyone advise?
