I have an African Voilet sitting on my desk by my north facing window. It was doing lovely at first. Blooming a lot. Recently however the flowers appear to be coded with a white dust. It has some new buds coming and they seem to be fine but I am worried that it might have "something".

African violets don't like their petals to get wet when watered. Is water splashing their leaves? Water these plants by adding water to a plate beneath its pot instead of directly into the pot. They also like to be fertilized w/ a mild or diluted fertilizer weekly. I only water mine weekly and it's still doing well w/ heat on everyday in these winter months. Good luck!
