I recently purchased a tropical plant at COSTCO and left it in the car overnight b/c I was traveling. That wasn't the best thing to do b/c the next day, many of the leaves were drooping. I don't know what type of tropical plant I purchased. The tag just reads Tropical. The leaves are a very dark green and are about 9 -12 inches wide and about 12 - 14 inches long. The middle of the plant is dark red. Is there any thing I can do to save my plant? Do I need to cut the leaves?

I would wait cutting the leaves of whatever plant you have until you see which ones were really effected by the cold first. Some might be ok, while others might turn yellow, brown or black and shrivel. As long as the roots where not effected by the cold temps, new leaves should grow.
