I live in Arizona & just purchased my 2nd palm, I live in an inside lower level condo, how can I make it survive in the heat though it's shaded? And can the plant be divided? I seem to have two plants in one pot. Thanks for any suggestions!

hey i would like to buy one of those plants for my whole family and my friends one time i had this plant and it died because it was out in the cold all winter and a hallf of the spring it is really cold and freezing down in this joint come check me out from school this school year is really boring and it really sucks the teachers are so wack and stupid and they dont know what they are talking about
