Lucille, it is no different from any other house plant, except that it will probably die down to underground parts in the autumn and sit that way until spring. Get the watering right (see many many answers here), and don't fertilise. Gice the plant good light, and it should be fine. Derek

Hey there, I have a clover as well, green with the light green and deep maroon diamond markings on the inside of the leaves? Boughten at Walmart, lol.
I keep mine in the window at all times, I use M. Gro on mine every other week and spritz/water all the time. I've noticed that if you miss a day or two with watering my plant will wilt and nearly die but once it's watered a few days it's back up to it's perky self.
I bought mine at 2 inches 3 weeks ago, it's now 5 inches and still growing strong. I've also noticed that it's hard to transplant these babies. As it seems moving the roots is a bad idea, I lost a plant due to a transplant, this is why I had to buy another. I guess I'll try again because this dinky little pot can't be that good for these.
Good Luck!

I'm curious too, because I was given a clover plant (also purchased from walmart) for my birthday and it has been struggling. at first i didn't have it sitting in the window, but then it really starting looking sick so two weeks ago i moved it to the window. I just tried transplanting it a few days ago, and now it sits in the window all the time, but several of the leaves are still pale green and many have died/fallen off. all the flowers are gone, i'm not sure what to do. I make sure the soil is moist (some sticks to ur finger at the touch), and it's getting a lot of sunlight. I noticed someone mentioned misting it, should i try that?
