Hello,
Great website! I love it! I looked up care for my Aloe Vera Plant and found the watering instructions (Drench the soil and let it become barely moist between waterings) a little confusing. First it says to drench the soil and in the same sentence says to let it become barely moist. Does this mean that you drench it and then let it dry out almost completely before watering again?
Thanks and have a wonderful day.

I've had an aloe plant for years. An aloe is a succulent plant which means that it stores water in it's fleshy thick leaves. You need to let it dry out between waterings. If you feel any moisture with your finger in the soil, hold off on watering. After mine is dry, I usually wait to water for another week. When you add water, it is only necessary to add until it starts to drain out of the bottom. I think if you keep the soil moist at all times, it would probably be too much water. Also, if the plant is outside, it is going to get dry quicker than if it was kept inside.

My aloe had babies which I transplanted. Unfortunately, I placed them in an area where they received too much sun and were sunburned. (this is over the course of about 2 days) Of course I have since moved them and am wondering if I have done irrepairable damage? Please help me save the babies!
