I have an 8 ft. tall rubber tree/house plant that I put outside from May until Sept. The plant is a house plant and does very well. The thing is my plant has one large stalk that forks at about 5'8" or so. When I put it outside this summer, there is no way it will fit in a house with 8' ceilings. How and where should I cut it? I live in the Midwest.
Thank you

Cut where you want just above a leaf stem, new growth will grow back close to where the cut was made.
