My storebought easterlily has now lost its beautiful flowers, unfortunately mold is now thriving on the surface of the soil. This has happened to every storebought plant I owned. I am careful to follow all care instructions, but to no avail mold grows. Why, and what can I do to save my easterlily? Thanks, Shannon Ignatowski

After the flowers have faded I set my plant out in the yard it will grow all summer then next spring it will come back up and bloom. It doesn't bloom as early as easter but it will bloom later.
