First, separate the ivy into another room away from the others. To find information on fungus gnats, go to SEARCH ARCHIVES, this site, type in Fungus Gnats and check out past answers. Click "ALL DATES" where it says last 30 days.

I HAVE ALOE PLANTS AND I HAD THAT SAME THING HAPPEN I JUST TOOK THEM OUT BY THE ROOTS AND WASHED THE ROOTS UNDER TEPID WATER. WITH A TINY BIT OF DISH LIQUID IN A PAN I SWISSHED THEM IN IT. THEN RINSED THEM WELL, THEN OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO WASH YOU POTS ALL OUT AND PUT NEW MUD IN ! I HAVE BEAUTIFULL ALOE'S NOT TOO SURE ABOUT THE OTHERS THOUGH AS I DON'T HAVE A BAMBOO! , BUT I WOULD KEEP ALL THE HEALTHY PLANTS AWAY FROM THE INFESTED ONES. GOOD LUCK
