how do i get rid of them,they are in all of my indoor ivy,and will i end up losing them?

Your ivy should be ok. Gnats can eat small thin strips on some of the leaves, but it's not life threatning. You can put a plastic bag over your infected plants and take them outside and change the soil. Go to SEARCH, this site, and type in FUNGUS GNATS, then click "ALL DATES" for other things you can do to help get rid of them.
