Hello,

I have a snake plant which is about thirty years old and suddenly I have a long stem with many buds on most of the stem. At this time, the buds are all a light green like the stem. I did not think this type of plant blossomed. After going on your site, I see you confirm that it does not blossom. What is going on with this plant? Please advise.

Thank you,

Maureen

Oh no, Maureen, they do bloom and have flowers that are very sweetly scented. You will love them. Our set-up is a little misleading - we haven't yet found the right words for the two alternatives which are : grown for its flowers OR grown for something other feature usually the foliage (but sometimes has a wonderful bonus!)

You are lucky that the plant is happy enough to bloom, and, as I said, you will love the fragrance. Derek
