i have a lilly growing in my garden and i wounder wether or not can it be cut back and when can i do this?

Your best chance of getting flowers next year is to leave the lily to finish its growth and start to turn yellow then brown. Not very pretty, but that is the biology of it - next year's growth depends on growing well this year. Derek
