Hi...I have been having a problem with these little fruit fly like bugs that I'm finding in my house...today when watering my indoor plants I noticed that these bugs are coming from one of my plants!!!! There is a bunch of them right in the dirt!!!!
I have has this problem before with one of my tropical trees and it actually died...Is there something I can spray in the dirt to kill the bugs but not my plant? How can I prevent this from happening?
If you could please get back to me that would be great!!!!

Please use the search on this site to look for "gnats" There are lots of helpful ideas there, but most important is to let the top of your soil dry out between waterings. Derek
