What are the watering instructions for a desert rose plant? I have it in my kitchen by a sliding glass door. In the past I have had blooms but this year it looked as if it was going to bloom and then it didn't. Can I put it out side for the rest of the summer? We live in Kentucky.

What is the correct botanical name for Desert Rose. I just
entered my plant in a garden show and it must of had 50 blooms on it, nobody new correct name.
