I have my first one and if you break a piece off does it grow back or how does this work?

It will make little plants around the base when it is growing strongly and you can take these off and plant them just as the mother plant is. Other pieces don't usually have any chance of rooting, though. Derek

What kind of watering/sunlight do these aloe plants prefer, anyone know?

hi kristy, aloe's like to be dry they should have a bit of sun anyways but they seem to do really well if they are not over watered . i water mine about once a month just a bit. good luck jo~
