I recently (1 week ago) bought a bamboo plant from Home Depot and repotted it to go indoors. The plant is about 5-6 ft tall and I placed in the living room by the back door. Now it looks like it is dying. The most if not all the leaves are yellow or turning yellow/brown. Is the sunlight that is coming through the glass door killing it? I've now closed the blinds, but should I move the plant?

vielka, I suspect that it was your repotting that has put it into shock. What do you mean "repotted it to go indoors"? It is a water problem, but could be that it is staying too wet OR that it is drying in some parts of the rootball. Please give it a very thorough soak in a bucket so that all the soil is wet, then let it drain and wait to water again (also by soaking) until the top inch or so is dry. Whatever you do DO NOT FERTILIZE until the plant is growing strongly. Good luck - but please learn from this that a plant doing well in its pot, may go sownhill if you repot. Derek
