What do I do to prep my outdoor Rose of Sharon for the fall so that it stays healthy and not so spindelly come spring. I have on that is about 5 foot tall and skinny right now. the flowers tended to weigh the branches way down

After it gets done flowering, cut it back about a foot, or less if you like, which will help look a little more bushy, less spindly when it's starts to grow again come summer.

Hi,
Right now I am experincing a problem I have not encountered before. My Rose of Sharons are "falling". It is like something is eating all the roots. I keep watering thwm, but, the leaves die and then they just "fall' over.
