I have a Spathiphylium (Peace Lily) and I put it out on my front porch for the summer months. Now that Fall is here and I am thinking about returning it to the inside of the house, I am interested in finding out how I prepare it for the change. Do I have to spray it to eliminate bringing any insects into the house. It has done very well outside and has even given forth its first beautiful lily. I don't want to take the chance of bringing any little bugs into the house so I wonder if there is a preparation that I should do. There doesn't seem to be any pests on it in its present state. Thank you for any information you can give me.

Dear Joan, I have summered many peace lillies on my porch and never had bugs attack it. However, if you feel you need to...give it a good hosing, taking care not to flood the soil too much....and put it in a low light situation in the house..Carol
