HI,
I HAVE A COUPLE OF DARK PURPLE SEED PODS I GOT FROM A VINEY PLANT. I BELIEVE IT HAD SMALL FLOWERS. ANYWAY, MY QUESTION IS, IN ORDER TO GROW THEM DO I: TAKE THE SEEDS OUT OF THE POD AND LET THEM DRY OUT?
DO I WRAP THEM IN A MOIST PAPER TOWEL AND KEEP THEM WET?
OR, WOULD IT BE BEST TO TAKE THEM OUT OF THE POD AND PLANT THEM?
HOPE YOU CAN HELP OUT.
THANK YOU

probably let them dry out in the pod.. when u see the pod break open thats when u get the seeds. on hibiscus when u see the pod start turning brown thats the time.

to get them to germinate u will have to know the habits of that plant. u may have to cold stratify them or maybe scarification.

with the hibiscus seeds i soak them overnight then nick the corner then plant them. depends on the amount of seeds u get try some all different ways and see which works for that plant/seeds
