is a pachira(money tree) harmful to dogs or cats if they were to get a hold of its leaves or stems???

According the Non-toxic plant list I have, Pachira is NOT toxic. But still, be careful, put them out of reach since any plant can possibly cause some form of discomfort.

I am taking care of a money tree plant for a friend...when the leaves started falling off and turn brown I put moved it by the patio door window thinking it needed more light and all the leaves are now gone...will it come back...is it hooped...how do you take care of these plants...HELP FRIEND COMES BACK IN A COUPLE OF WEEK.....WHERE CAN I PURCHASE ANOTHER????
