I have been looking on the internet for a few days now to see if I could find out what kind of house plants produce the most oxygen. I live in Alaska and the winters are very long, we don't get to open windows for long periods of time. I want to try and refresh the air in the house through out the winter, and since I live in an apartment and air exchanger is not an option. Could you tell me what house plant type will produce the most oxygen? I am not concerned with how pretty the plant is, if it is an ugly plant to look at but still produces lots of o2 that is fine. Any info you can relay will be much appreciated. Thank you

I have read that spiderplants (Chlorophytum comosum) produce the most oxygen, maybe a couple others plants as well, but you should read this link....

I was wondering if you could send me the link which you sent to the questioner above. I am interested in making my work space more "green" and the plants which would produce the most oxygen would be must benificial. Any help you can provide would be must appreciated. Thank you.
