my spider plant isnt groeing and the end of the leaves turn black

It sounds like your over-watering. Only water when the soil has had a chance to dry out first. Give it brighter light but no direct hot sun and diluted fertilizer in the spring and summer months only about once a month to help it grow. Keep the pot small so and let the roots fill the pot.
