I live in Iowa and was wondering how far off of the floor plants should be.

I live in maine and I have had succssess with putting my planys right on the floor, I have a pathos that is creeping under my dining room table. How ever if you are nervous about this you can try to get some of the decorative plant stands that can be any where fron 6-15 inches off the floor.
