What are the sunlight,& water requirements for an indoor philodendron plant? This is only the 2nd indoor plant i've had & the 1st plant i owned died, i dont know if it was my water, or lighting that killed it, but i have no idea what this kind of plant requires to live?

Dear Rachel, Philo is just about the easiest plant to grow...I do not subject mine to strong sunshine, but keep it in a light room. I only water when the soil feels dry which is about once a week during the winter season when our heat is on....in the summer months, only when I feel the soil is dry. good luck
