I have a very large plant. It has large green leaves and the flower that blloms it tall and white. I have seen them in malls. They can get very big. I know this isn't much of a description. but i don't know the name of it and would like to make sure it isn't poisonous for my children. I have this plant in my house.
thank you

Rhonda, you have to tell us more - what is big? Six feet 15 feet, 100 feet?
From the mention of the bloom. I wonder if you may have one of the larger types of peace lily. Have a look at the picture of spathiphyllum 'Sensation' and see if that is like it. If so, that plant has never been reported to cause harm. You never know, of course, what a child may be allergic to - so the obvious thing is to start training them as soon as they can reach the plants, NOT to touich or to put anything from a plant in their mouths unless you habd it to them.
