A chemical called "chlorophyll" helps make photosynthesis happen. Chlorophyll is what gives plants their green color.Shade loving plants can also be green, so more sun does not mean greener, unless a more sun loving plant is not getting the right amount of bright light, the leaves can become small and pale, moving it to more brighter, even direct light will help it maintain the green color and health it should be.
