I have large cacti, 6 ft tall growing in a solarium , and other monsters. How do you transplant? with BIG leather gloves? if the plant has cacti hair it almost impossible to even move without getting bit. i do love my cacti BUT do not want to give any away because when they get big they are so hard to manage.

20 yaers old jade plant
big and hard stalked , part of the family but has some sort of b-u-g... white dot like things on the TOP of the leaves not mealy bugs. they wipe off and it looks like nothing is wrong but after awhile i notice a hole will develop after i wipe the white spot off. I first tryed wiping off and then i tryed a liile dish soap and water sprayed all over, the plant did not like that. it was then starting to be winter( and i live in northern canada where there is hardly any sunlight and -40 below zero)just before xmas i started wiping the plant again and using insecticides. it seems a little better but lost lots of leaves
