I HAVE A ZYGO CACTUS,SOMETIMES CALLED XMAS CACTUS,IT GETS BLOOMS ON IT BUT THEY FALL OFF BEFORE THEY BLOOM,WHAT AM I DOING WRONGE.

Once Christmas cactus get their little buds, don't move it or turn it, The buds have not hardened onto the leaf enough and can drop if they have to turn the opposite way towards the light. Bright indirect light is best, no direct sun.
Keep it in a cool room, maybe an extra room with the heat vent covered up some so temps are between 50-65 if you can. They can take lower, I think it's 35 degrees.
Also, make sure when you water, you water long enough so that the water flows out the drainage hole, then empty excess. If soil is kept too wet, the roots can rot.
Let the soil get close to dry before watering again.Feed in spring and summer, none in winter when flowering is necessary.
