please help,

I received a Schefflera arboricola for my son in laws funeral it is loosing its leaves. I do not over water and give it alot of light. What Can I do?

Change in environment (from greenhouse to lower light house) is one reason you may seeing leaf drop. When there is a sudden reduction in light intensity/duration. It should do well right in front of an east window (without touching glass) or near a sunnier window. Mine sits off to the side a little near a south facing window.The variegated version does better with more light than the all green one.
Water when soil has had a chance to get close to dry before watering, then water thoroughly enough so water comes out drainage holes, empty excess.
