My son (9 year old) and I are looking for a fast growing house plant that he could use for a science fair project. It would need measurable growth over a three week period. Could also be a perennial or vegetable plant.
Any ideas off the top of you head?

i was just at walmart earlier and they have small tulips started for 1.50 tulips grow relatively qwikly if its warm and sunny. so u could keep it inside for warmth by a window and it should do good for the science project.
