hello there!

i noticed this morning that my indoor palm trees all have areas where the bark is drying out or flaking off. i poured water over these areas and took a closer look. i saw extremely small black slow moving bugs clustered in the areas of the missing bark. what can i do to rid the palms of these bugs? once the bugs are removed, how do i treat the open areas of the palms' trunk?
